Art. 6 - Members (Extract from the Statute of Psy + Onlus)

The association is open to all natural persons who share its aims, without any kind of discrimination. Membership is granted at the written request of the interested party to be presented to the management board, which will evaluate its contents and decree its viability following the favorable vote of at least two thirds of its members. To be admitted to the Assembly of Members it is necessary to be in compliance with the payment of the annual membership fee and to have subscribed to the principles collected in this Statute and in the Psy + Code of Conduct. Once admitted as a member, admission takes place indefinitely: any form of temporary participation is therefore excluded.

The members are distinguished in:

  • Founding Members: "Founding Members" are those who have contributed significantly to the conception and establishment of the association project;
  • Ordinary Members: "Ordinary Members" are all those who carry out operational tasks, whether voluntary or professional within the association.
  • Supporting Members: they are those who register for support, even if they are not willing to carry out work or volunteer activities within the association;

These distinctions do not in any way affect the exercise of association rights. Among the members there is a uniform discipline of the associative relationship and the associative modalities.

All members have equal rights and equal obligations towards the association, participate in the decision-making process and have equal opportunities to access elective offices, with the only limitations established by this Statute.

Each member has the right to withdraw from the association by written communication sent to the CDG. The resignation will take effect from the date on which the CDG has received them. The withdrawing or excluded members cannot claim the contributions paid and cannot claim any right on the association's patrimony.

Each member is required to pay an annual membership fee which will be determined by the CDG with a resolution to be taken by the end of December of each year and valid for the following year.

Each shareholder is required to respect the principles of this Statute, the Charter of Values, the resolutions taken by the statutory bodies and the rules of the Internal Regulations.

The member who carries out activities contrary to the purposes of the Association, or violates the Statute or does not comply with the decisions of the statutory bodies, is liable to the penalties of the written warning, the temporary suspension from the association activity, the definitive expulsion from the Association .

All sanctions will be assessed and resolved in the CDG on the proposal of the President. Each sanctioning measure will be communicated in writing, by registered letter to the interested party.

For any dispute in this regard, reference will be made to the Arbitration Board pursuant to art. 7 of this statute.
