A special thanks for these audiovisual products goes to the volunteer Monica Ranieri, photojournalist, and to Borders News.
We then listened to the concert of the project together Two Windows (Luigi Tresca, saxophone - Lorenzo Apicella, piano) with the extraordinary participation of Francesca Fusco (voice) who gave us two unscheduled pieces, and thus inaugurated the fundraiser for the new sending of volunteers through membership, 5x1000 and regular donations. SUNDAY 8 MAY - PRESENTATION OF THE "A SPECIAL LIFE" PROJECT (BELGRADE 2016-2017)

Belgrado3Sunday 8 May in Via Reno 18 / A, Rome

Psy + Onlus will be glad to have you as guests
for the presentation of his first project
of international cooperation:

A special life:
special care for special needs

In Serbia, institutionalization is provided for people with disabilities. However, there are some virtuous examples of autonomous realities that accompany people with special needs towards an autonomous and independent life. Naša Kuća it is one of these, therefore Psy + Onlus has dedicated its first international project to support this reality.
We firmly believe that it is of primary importance to support and strengthen the social inclusion practices that the Serbian autonomous territorial organizations have launched, in order to obtain a better quality of life for families and people with special needs.
Psy + Onlus has decided to supply a Naša Kuća a support that foresees the sending of volunteers both to concretely help the existence and survival of the project, and to generate an exchange of skills with those who work inside the center.
This year, thanks to your donations and the work of our members, we have sent 3 volunteers. On 8 May 2016 we will present the project and its new perspectives for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Ljubav-The words of love

The video "Ljubav-The Words of Love" is a work by Monica Ranieri, Anthropologist, volunteer of Psy + Onlus, within the project "A Special Life - Special care for Special Needs". The international project, which started in October 2015 is in full swing. Monica and Paolo have been working in the field for about 4 months Naša KućaSerbian laboratory attended by young adults with mental disabilities. Their work, sometimes difficult, hampered by serious language barriers, is rich in a very important added value: the relationship. Entering an unknown context, understanding its dynamics, being accepted, being lived as emotionally central figures, is not always tangible but it is the best result that can be expected from a project. The video testifies, speaking of love, that in a context made of people, not everything passes through concreteness but much passes through relationships.
The reason “It is very simple: you can only see it well with your heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - The Little Prince

Thanks to Monica Ranieri and Paolo Azzolini for their daily work, Frontiere News for the media partnership and Naša Kuća for the nice hospitality.
