Social inclusion

Because psychological well-being is a right of every person!

Homelessness: a complex phenomenon

Try asking those who live on the street what they want and they will answer: "a house"

Poverty, loss of ties, mental distress, trauma, addictions, prison: the causes of homelessness are many, and more and more people are involved. However, the solutions generally adopted are fragmented and ineffective, considering the home as a point of arrival. Instead, we want to reverse the plans: overcoming homelessness must start from the home. PsyPlus intends to promote inclusion and care, with acts of concrete social solidarity and by putting fundamental scientific knowledge into the system for the definition of effective community interventions.

For the homeless, the street is a cage, the home is freedom

People homeless they live locked up in a plurality of cages, invisible but tangible, from which it seems impossible to get out. Guarantee him one property in which to live, following the Housing First model, is the most effective tool to give them back freedom and the dignity they deserve.

A house without steps

My granddaughters have a cloth hut. Inside there is a little bit of everything. The parents, me, the grandmother and all the people they are connected to put in there. The hut has windows and they choose when to lower or raise the blinds. The hut is there, in their room. Sometimes they play it, sometimes they prefer to stay elsewhere.

Of stigmas and stings

stigma (στίγμα) in Greek means sign, mark, sting.

And i brands they are the ones we often put on certain stories as well as on people. Especially if they have something that we fear may belong to us and from which we feel the urge to distance ourselves.
