Dr. Rita Fiorentino is Clinical and Health Psychologist, Family Mediator and specializing in Psychoanalytic Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
She graduated from the G. D'Annunzio University of Chieti with a grade of 110 cum laude, with an experimental thesis on the validation of a self-assessment scale of the different types of craving in the alcoholic patient.
In 2012, he collaborated with the Day Hospital of Psychiatry and Drug Addiction of the "A. Gemelli" Polyclinic in Rome, specializing in research and in the clinic of pathological addictions with and without substance abuse.
The main interests of her training led her to the analysis of transcultural aspects in clinical psychology, publishing scientific research articles in collaboration with the psychiatrist Dr. G. Martinotti.
From 2013 to today, he has been working on the effects of socio-cultural discomforts.
By serving in a First Reception Center for mothers with minor and pregnant children, she embarked on a path of support for parenting and socio-health assistance.
He deepened the cross-cultural and immigration phenomenon by creating a network of services that operates in the Territory of Rome and which supports and integrates asylum seekers who are often victims of torture, racial, political, sexual and religious discrimination.
Collaborating, with the role of Ordinary Member and Head of Operational Coordination, with the Psy Plus Onlus Association, she works as a psychologist in the Comprehensive Institute "Antonio De Curtis", offering support and psychological counseling service for junior high school students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff.
With the Psy + Association, it also deals with preventing and reducing the phenomenon of addiction to pathological gambling through a series of interventions aimed at the creation of information and listening desks provided by the Department of Social Policies of Rome, in which 'intends to offer support to people and families who are unable to resist the impulse of play and whose behavior compromises their emotional and working relationships.
