Finally, with the first issue of the Psy + Onlus Newsletter, we can start to inform you regularly about the social activities of our association, in the hope of being able to communicate the passion with which we are committed to the dissemination of good practices in psychology, psychotherapy, solidarity social and cooperation. CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION CENTER
The Psy + Onlus Clinical Psychological Counseling Center was created with the aim of offering professional services at low costs, in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. A service has therefore been set up capable of offering professional services at reduced rates. Access is via the toll-free number 800.91.04.89.
CASA DEI PAPA '
It is an innovative secondary prevention and parenting support project for couples with minor children, in the process of separation. To housing, education and social assistance support, managed by the Coop. Apriti Sesamo, Psy + Onlus supports family mediation interventions, individual, couple and group psychological support.
A SPECIAL LIFE, SPECIAL CARE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS
The "A Special Life, Special care for Special Needs" project involves volunteers selected by Psy + Onlus in carrying out innovative activities for users with intellectual disabilities, of the Naša Kuća day center, in Belgrade, Serbia. The project entered the operational phase from September 2015 when the selected volunteers followed an intensive training weekend with the experts of Psy + Onlus and the staff of Naša Kuća.
SCHOOL
Psy + Onlus is active in several schools in the Roman territory, through psychological listening desk services, classroom observations, teacher training, prevention and screening of Specific Learning Disorders. Psy + Onlus also supports the SONET-Bull project coordinated by Fondazione Mondo Digitale to understand and combat the phenomenon of school bullying.
PSYCHOLOGICAL-SCIENTIFIC TRAINING
The Psy + Onlus Seminars, now in their second edition, are proposed as support for the Continuous Training of Mental Health Operators and constitute an opportunity for discussion and updating on issues related to the individual's mental, physical and social well-being. At the end of the seminars, a scientific documentation is drawn up to deepen the themes and provide theoretical references based on the most recent contributions offered by the international scientific panorama.
PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION ON GAMBLING DISORDER
Psy + Onlus is engaged in the following activities: - Data analysis of the Rome Gambling Survey, our orientation research on gambling within the foreign population in the Municipality of Rome. - Collaboration with the "Non Azzardiamoci" committee, a network of associations that have decided to work together to tackle the spread of gambling in the Tiburtina area (Rome) in a unified way. - Participation, in partnership with Coop. Soc. Parsec, Auser Association and Coop. Soc. Il Cammino, to the project to prevent risks deriving from pathological gambling financed by the Lazio Region called "LIG - Lazioingioco".
CINEMA AND PSYCHOLOGY
An animated film for adults and children, capable of speaking to people of all ages and cultures about the relationship with our emotions and how they can guide our actions in everyday life.
